New Mexico DOT seeks comments on State Transportation Improvement Program

New Mexico highway welcome signThe New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is seeking public comment on its most recent 5-year State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) covering 2016 through 2021.

The plan calls for expenditures of $590.3 million in 2016, $485.1 million in 2017, $355.3 million in 2018, $327.6 million in 2019, $336.3 million in 2020 and $345.1 million in 2021.

Comments can be sent to NMDOT STIP Coordinator Rebecca Maes at [email protected]. The department also is asking for the pubic to comment on the plan during the State Transportation Commissions next meeting Nov. 19 in Albuquerque.
