New Holland exits large machine lines, concentrates on compact equipment

Refocusing on its compact lines, New Holland Construction says it will start to withdraw from the following North American markets in 2012: dozers, graders, 80-plus horsepower wheel loaders,  6-ton-plus excavators and telescopic handlers. Instead, the company will focus on on compact product lines for landscaping, utility, residential construction and agriculture.

New Holland will continue to offer skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, tractor loaders, backhoes, compact wheel loaders and compact excavators in North America.
