New Holland Construction Introduces the New D95B Crawler Dozer

CAROL STREAM, ILL. Mar. 12, 2008 – With a new FPT engine that offers the ideal combination of power and maximum fuel efficiency, New Holland Construction introduces the D95B Crawler Dozer. The D95B”s newly incorporated FPT engine delivers the power and productivity that customers expect with an even lower total cost of operation than ever before.

The dozer”s powerful blade and track forces, combined with maximum ground clearance and stability, make the machine ideal for tough earthmoving and land clearing jobs as well as navigation over rough terrain. The 99 horsepower FPT engine is powerful while providing fuel savings and cutting overall operating costs to the owner.

“When purchasing a dozer, customers want to be confident that it is a powerful, high-quality machine designed for productivity on many types of jobs and terrains,” said Paul Wade, brand marketing manager at New Holland Construction. “The D95B”s proven FPT engine ensures that the machine has the power our customers need with the low total cost of ownership they demand.”

In addition to lower fuel consumption, serviceability makes this machine very easy to own and maintain. The D95B not only has the leading point score for periodic maintenance compared to other dozers, but also features an easy tilt-over cab/platform for quick, unmatched service access to hydraulic pumps and powertrain components. This translates directly to time and money savings for the owner and operator.

In line with New Holland Construction”s commitment to customers, operator comfort was a priority in the design of this crawler dozer. Operators can be secure, comfortable and more productive with features such as a sloped, tapered hood for maximum visibility, a spacious cab and a deluxe mechanical suspension seat. Operator preferences have been taken into account with the ability to adjust the level of sensitivity to match different operating styles. Three control levels adjust steering sensitivity, shuttle speed and maximum transmission speed. Adding to the versatility of the machine are three different options for track configurations (LT/LXT – Long Track, WT – Wide Track and LGP – Low Ground Pressure) and a variety of optional attachments to suit many applications. The D95B is manufactured by New Holland Construction in the United States at the company”s Calhoun, Ga., factory.
