New biofuel blog debuts

|  January 14, 2009 |

So you’re in the office putting together a bid, thinking this one should be a piece of cake when you read in the specifications: All mobile construction equipment used shall be powered by a B20 biodiesel blend.”

What do you do if you’ve never done biodiesel? We recommend you check out this new blog and website dedicated to biodiesel and biofuel issues. It’s run by some Iowans who have their own biodiesel plant, but it’s a rich source of information on all types of biofuel, especially if you’re starting from square one. And believe us, biofuels are only going to grow in importance in the coming Obama administration.

For a good backgrounder on biodiesel and heavy equipment check out our Special Report from the August 2007 issue of Equipment World.
