Komatsu Komtrax iPhone app [1]Komatsu America has released a new app that gives owners the ability to browse their Komtrax fleet monitoring data on their iPhone, iPad and/or Android tablet or smartphone.

Introduced in 2005, Komatrax comes standard on all new Komatsu machines and wirelessly sends machine operating information to a secure website for owners to browse.

The new Komatrax app makes all of that data available anywhere. Hours worked, idle time and fuel consumption are browsable in daily, weekly or monthly time increments through the app. Owners can identify caution codes with descriptions and time stamps as well as understand machine movements and analyze machine utilization through the new app.

The app also allows owners to locate a machine and get driving directions to it.

The Komatrax app also allows customers to contact their distributor, product support sales representative, salesperson, service provider, parts counter or KOMTRAX Coordinator via email, a text message or a phone call.

You can download the Komtrax app for free at the Apple App Store by clicking here [2] or at the Google Play store for Android devices by clicking here. [3]
