Neal Manufacturing’s ESSP 550T, 750T sealcoating machines offer fast coverage, low maintenance

ESSP 750TESSP 750T

Neal Manufacturing has introduced its heavy-duty ESSP 550T and 750T trailer-mounted machines for sealcoating.

The machines feature electric super sand pump (ESSP) systems that produce as much as 100 gpm for fast coverage, as well as a water tank hand-wand holder to prevent the sealer from leaking.

The 550T has a capacity of up to 550 gallons of material, while the 750T can hold up to 750 gallons.

Each unit comes with 75 feet of reinforced hose, a 6-foot hand wand and a six-nozzle spray bar that can apply material in 16-foot passes. An additional hand wand, 87-inch spray bar or 50-gpm electrically operated hydraulic piston pump (ESP) is also available.

A V-twin, 18-horsepower Kohler Command PRO gasoline engine powers each ESSP system, which transfers up to 100 gallons of material into the tank per minute.

For low maintenance, the machines have leather cups that tightly seal the plates to prevent material from leaking. The company says users only need to flush the cups once a year, and seals can last up to 200,000 gallons.

The pumps have 2.5-gallon material fillers, as well as Neal’s Generation III pump heads that deliver uninterrupted pumping power.

The trailers are built with high-gauge structural tube steel and can be towed with a standard 2 5/16-inch ball hitch or an optional pintle hitch. The trailers also have breakaway safety switches that automatically apply the brakes if the trailer is separated from the tow vehicle.

Other features include:

  • In-line surge tank that reduces material surging

  • Hydraulic agitation system with a three-blade design that ensures two blades are in the material at all times

  • Solid steel agitator shaft

  • Control panel that allows users to change speed and direction of the pump and agitator while controlling the water cleanup system

  • Large indicator lights

  • 21-inch square manway, with a safety lid and sandbag splitter, that provides access to the tank

Neal Manufacturing also offers free training seminars in Anniston, Alabama for operators who want to learn how to properly operate and maintain the machines.
