Mustang’s new 2500RT compact track loader boosts capacity, reduces maintenance
| March 29, 2013 |
Boost performance in soft, sandy and loose terrain with Mustang’s 2500RT compact track loader, which features a 2,500-pound operating capacity at 35 percent tipping capacity. Featuring a 74.3-horsepower Tier 4 Deutz turbo diesel engine, the loader produces 243 foot-pounds of torque.
AntiStall technology – Senses the machine’s load electronically and monitors and adjusts hydrostatic drive pump displacements continuously to manage horsepower and torque, resulting in optimized machine performance without the possibility of stalling.
Automatic Track Tensioning System – Eliminates the need for manually tensioning the tracks on the loader, extending the life of the track sand saving time. The operator adjustable straight-tracking feature eliminates dog-tracking.
Comfortable operator’s station – Joystick controls are mounted to the suspension frame seat, allowing them to move with the operator and reduce fatigue. Controls, armrests, restraint bar and foot pod depth are adjustable. An easy-to-use multi-function display features all the machines vital information.
Dedicated track loader chassis – Rather than using a skid-steer chassis with bolt-on track assemblies, the 2500RT features a welded, dedicated track loader chassis as a standard feature.
Easy serviceability – A large rear hood and swing out door allow easy access to service points, and the ROPS/FOPS tilts on gas-spring assists for access to hydraulic components and electronics.
