Minnesota contractors stump for ‘vertical’ construction

|  April 20, 2009 |

Too much of the stimulus bill focuses on road and bridge construction, says a group of commercial contractors in Minnesota, and more needs to be done to jump start what they call the “vertical” construction market.  What the Construction Jobs Coalition really didn’t say in the 23-page paper presented to the state legislature  is that they’re basically asking the state government to rescind, suspend or undo all the burdensome regulations and taxes the government has imposed on them in the past.

What a wild idea! Stimulate the economy by reducing government regulation.
