Miller Bobcat 225 Welder Generator Now Fully Enclosed for Quieter, Cooler Performance

  • New fully enclosed case helps engine run cooler
  • One-third quieter than previous model

APPLETON, Wis., August 4, 2008- The Bobcat 225 gas engine-driven welder generator from Miller Electric Mfg. Co. now has a fully enclosed case for added protection as well as quieter and coller operation, especially when mounted on a truck with restricted airflow. The Miller Bobcat 225 provides 10,500 watts of generator power and up to 225 amps of welding (stick, flux cored, MIG, TIG, and air carbon arc gouging) output, making it a popular choice for MRO, farm and ranch, construction and truck-mounted applications.

“The Bobcat 225″s case now better directs the hot air away from the engine for cooler operation, ensuring full output even in hot weather or when it”s mounted in a confined space with restricted air flow, such as in a truck bed,” says John Leisner, product manager, Miller Electric Mfg. Co. (MillerWelds.com) “Plus, by fully enclosing the Bobcat 225, we cut sound levels by thirty-three percent.”

The Bobcat 225 is available with a Kohler 23-HP or Subaru/Robin 22-HP gas engines. To find the right Miller Welder generator for your needs, visit MillerWelds.com/products/enginedriven/.
