Compact utility loader combines the tasks of several machines
The D-Series Toolcat 5600 utility work machine from Bobcat can be used to accomplish many of the same tasks as a compact tractor, attachment carrier, utility vehicle, pickup truck and more. Integrated suspension stops help to maintain the machine’s 2,000-pound payload and 1,500-pound operating capacity. A full-time four-wheel-drive system with limited slip differentials monitors tractive effort, delivers torque to all four wheels and manages distribution of power in response to ground conditions. The standard Bob-Tach mounting system allows operators to switch attachments in less than a minute.

Paver’s six-cylinder diesel engine provides 174 horsepower
Caterpillar’s AP655D asphalt paver offers a Cat C6.6 engine with ACERT technology, dual operating stations with the Advisor Monitoring System, tilting consoles, a Mobil-trac or steel track undercarriage, a high capacity cooling system, belt or hydraulic driven generator system and Caterpillar’s material handling system with independent auger and conveyor controls. The AP655D handles highways, urban and rural streets, county roads, lane additions, industrial sites, overlays, airport runways and other medium to high production-sized paving jobs. Optional features include friction steering, a smooth Mobil-track belt, power folding front hopper apron and a track plow.

Pipelayers’ lift capacities range from 20 to 150 metric tons
Designed with Volvo excavators and modern lifting technology in mind, Volvo Construction Equipment’s five pipelaying models – the PL4611C, PL4608C, PL2904C, PL7015C and PL2102C – feature side-based booms and lift capacities from 20 to 150 metric tons. Each provides 360-degree swing with full lifting performance and functionality at all radius positions. The Load Management System allows the operator to determine what can be picked up depending on the angle of the boom, the cab’s position relative to the tracks and the incline on which the machine is operating. The largest Volvo pipelayer model, the PL7015C, has a 150-metric-ton maximum tipping lift capacity. The boom, body and roller frames provide structural integrity to manage these higher loads.

Onboard scale systems reduce return trips to weigh scale
Case Construction Equipment now offers onboard scale systems from Loup Electronics, available for installation on Case wheel loader models 521, 621, 721, 821 and 921. The two scale options, the Load Log 800 and Load Log 8000, help eliminate return trips for overloaded and under-loaded trucks, and reduce visits to the weigh scale. Weighing on the lift speeds operation and allows operators to load more trucks per shift, while ensuring that trucks are loaded correctly the first time. The systems improve site safety by getting rid of unnecessary vehicle movements and also generate operational logs for accurate record keeping.

V-plows achieve smooth tripping action
Hiniker’s 9000 series V-plows feature high-clearance trip-edge design for enhanced protection. Located 9 inches above ground level, the pinch-free pivot point improves protection from higher obstacles, such as curbs and parking barriers. Each side of the plow trips independently for smooth tripping action, and the plow’s high-tensile steel superstructure has 12 laser-cut ribs for heavy-duty applications. The 30-inch-tall moldboard provides a low-friction, high-density polyethylene surface that resists dents and corrosion. Double-acting hydraulic cylinders allow positive hydraulic control of moldboard positioning, whether plowing forward or dragging backwards.

Milling drum’s lace pattern reduces vibration and increases drum life
Kennametal’s Road-Ready milling drums provide powerful asphalt grinding with minimal equipment wear and save downtime through ease of use. Built to match all major OEM specifications, Road-Ready drums can be customized to a user’s specific needs. The computerized lacing program, which determines optimum placement of tools on the drum, ensures a cut that provides a road surface finish to meet U.S. Department of Transportation standards. The synchronized lace pattern on the balanced drum reduces vibration and minimizes damage to profilers and milling machines, while increasing cutting tool and drum life.

Adhesive anchor complies with IBC 2003 and 2006
With greater flexibility for design and installation, the Hilti HIT RE 500-SD Epoxy Adhesive Anchor System can be installed in the tensile zone of concrete members. The system has been evaluated in accordance with ICC acceptance criteria AC308. Cracked concrete recognition allows use in areas with any seismic design category and qualifies it for use in a wide temperature range. The anchor system meets these requirements using a standard threaded rod with no special elements required for cracked concrete applications. The HIT RE 500-SD’s flexible embedment depth allows engineers to design for any embedment between four and 20 times the rod/rebar diameter per AC308 and provides flexibility for various hole conditions, including hammer drilled, diamond cored, water saturated, water filled and underwater holes.

Steel frameless dump trailer offers higher cube capacity
Benson International has expanded its Ironman product line to include the Ironman Frameless Dump Trailer. The trailer offers a lightweight design with AR450 material for strength and a squared front for a higher cube capacity. The high volume construction enables users to increase payload, while spring plates in the trailer floor lessen impact forces of materials loaded.

Multi-position snowplow breaks through massive snowdrifts
The Boss’ Power-V XT multi-position snowplow improves snow discharge for maximum performance with a 37-inch flared blade wing. Both the 8-foot 2-inch XT and the 9-foot 2-inch XT come with heavy-duty center sections and push frames, reinforced moldboard and tough cutting edges. Additional standard features include the SmartHitch2 attachment system, SmartTouch2 hand held controls, SmartShield paint finish with zinc primer and a chainless hydraulic cylinder lifting system.

Stump grinder holds 90 percent of flying debris
Ryan’s Equipment Predator Stump Grinder for skid steers features fewer hydraulic components than typical stump grinders, a heavy-duty backfill blade and works with various style teeth. The grinder’s optional chip curtains – which contain 90 percent of flying debris – can be folded in and removed for easy transport. For long, steady grinding and in hot weather, the optional oil cooler reduces hydraulic oil temperatures, thus lengthening the life of your skid steer and grinder.

Truck-mounted cranes rise 105 and 115 feet
Elliott Equipment’s two 26-ton capacity BoomTrucks offer a variety of jib lengths, platforms and accessories to best fit the unit to the user’s applications. The 2695 supplies 95 feet of powered main boom with a 105-foot tip height, while the 26105 has a 105-foot boom with 115-foot tip height. Both BoomTrucks feature FrictionFree jib extension for easy jib deployment and stowage, and have Load Moment Indicator systems for safe boom operation. Operator amenities include dual cup holders and a 12-volt cell phone charger.
