Mahindra to launch diesel pickup in U.S.

[1]While all the weeping and wailing, bailouts and bankruptcies proceed apace in Detroit, the Indian vehicle and tractor manufacturer Mahindra announced plans to introduce a four cylinder diesel pickup truck [2]into the U.S. market. According to reports, it has a 7.5 foot bed, 1.3 ton payload, gets 30 mpg and will be priced 10 to 15 percent less than comparable Japanese models.
