Lincoln Electric earns E-Star Award

Lincoln Electric has been named a President’s E-Star Award recipient, an award that recognizes ongoing excellence in exporting products manufactured in the United States. At a ceremony held at the White House, George W. Bush and Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez presented Lincoln officials John M. Stropki, chairman, president and CEO; Richard J. Seif, senior vice president, sales and marketing and George Blankenship, senior vice president of global engineering and U.S. operations with the award.

Stropki credited the commitment of Lincoln employees for the award. “The E-Star Award honors the engineering and manufacturing excellence of our employees. It is their commitment that enables us to meet the increased demand for Lincoln products from our global customers,” Stropki says
