With an emphasis on outdoor-inspired design, Keen Utility’s additions to its Fall 2015 product line includes safety boots tailored for winter work.

Part of the company’s American Built collection, the footwear is designed to combine comfort with protection.

New styles available for fall include the Mt. Vernon, which is manufactured from waterproof full-grain leather with a KEEN.DRY waterproof, breathable membrane and a hydrophobic/hydrophilic two-zone comfort lining for ventilation.

The Mt. Vernon is available in both six- and eight-inch silhouettes, both of which feature an oil- and slip-resistant non-marking rubber outsole that has channels that divert water and improve stability. Left and right asymmetrical steel toes meet ASTM EH standards and protect the toes from impact injuries.

A direct-attach PU midsole delivers comfort with less compacting over time. Additional features include locking metal lace hooks, a removable metatomical dual-density EVA footbed and TPU shank for midfoot support.

The Minot insulated work boot has 600 grams of KEEN.WARM insulation as well as a thermal heat shield foot bed, making the boot suitable for the coldest work environments.

The Minot’s oil- and slip-resistant cold weather rubber compound outsole ensures stability in slick or icy conditions. Made from Nubuck waterproof leather, the Minot has a KEEN.DRY waterproof breathable membrane and two-zone hydrophobic/hydrophilic comfort lining that keeps feet dry and warm.

Tough-Tec leather resists abrasions and boosts durability. Like other Keen work boots, the Minot has left and right asymmetrical steel toes.
