IronPlanet posted record sales in the company’s second quarter 2009 financial results. The company reported gross auction sales of $120 million, an increase of 31 percent from the same period last year.
The company’s second quarter represented a 31 percent growth from the first quarter and a year-to-date performance of $211 million, a 25 percent increase from last year.
In the second quarter, the company conducted 20 auctions and sold more than 8,300 lots, up 85 percent from the second quarter 2008.
