IronDirect, which launched its e-commerce site, irondirect.com in mid-September, is holding a dealer recruitment event Dec. 14 at its Customer Experience Center in Asheville, North Carolina.

The company has previously announced initiatives designed to entice dealers and sales representatives interested in service and selling the equipment it has available, including Chinese-made machines and products from Italian and American manufacturers.

“After our first dealer recruitment event in November, we’ve already signed our first dealers,” says Joseph Krider, vice president of revenue and growth at IronDirect. “Dealers saw firsthand the value that IronDirect brings with its platform of equipment, maintenance and management tools, and programs that make it easy for customers to reinvest in new machines.”

The company says the event will offer prospective dealers instructions on using its platform, as well as hands-on time with equipment and products available, including excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, earth scrapers, compactors, attachments and undercarriages. The Customer Experience Center, in addition to an outdoor equipment demo area, also features a technology center and indoor display pavilion.
