Interstate 69The Indiana Department of Transportation is working with the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA) in making sure a contractor involved with the Interstate 69 Development Partners is paid promptly by the developer.

IFA issued a notice of non-performance last week when it confirmed Isolux Corsan had not been paid more than $2.3 million for work on State Road 37 between Martinsville and Indianapolis.

“The state expects contractors working on this project and all projects to be paid on time,” says Indiana Public Finance Director Dan Huge. “The IFA is taking decisive action to protect taxpayer and motorist interests and hold our developer accountable.”

IFA reports it has previously issued non-performance and could hold the I-69 Development Partners “in default” of contracts this week.
