A prototype of Haulotte‘s new rough-terrain telescopic boom, HT23RTJ, was previewed at the Intermat trade show, taking place this week in Paris, France. The machine will be available in October 2012 in North America.

The boom can reach full height in 53 seconds and comes with three steer settings: two-wheel steer, four-wheel steer and crab. All four wheels are simultaneously controlled and oscillating axles are standard. The machine comes with a Kubota engine, Bosch joystick and Sauer, Bosch and Hydraforce hydraulic components.

Metric specs for the boom include a 22.4 meter platform height, 18.1 meter horizontal outreach, a 2.2-meter telescopic jib and a dual load system for a lifting capacity of up to 450 kg.
