“Technical education and training is fundamental to Holt’s future success and to our society as a whole,” says Peter John Holt, Holt Cat executive vice president and general manager EVP and General Manager. “Initiatives like SA Works are taking a proactive approach to workforce development. As the San Antonio economy expands, we want to ensure that there is a skilled workforce to fill in-demand positions.”

The company says the donation will also be used toward promoting careers in vocational trades and to help “bridge the workforce gap.”

“The involvement and contributions of industry leaders like Holt Cat help us to create meaningful learning opportunities for our youth,” says Romanita Matta-Barrera, SA Works executive director. “We are taking the lead in education and workforce programming for San Antonio, with the goal of maintaining a balanced talent pipeline for technology and advanced manufacturing, among other target industries.”

“Holt Cat continues to invest in education and workforce programs, as one of our company’s key initiatives,” says Corinna Holt Richter, Holt Cat executive vice president and CAO. “We recognize the need for top talent and are excited to be a partner of SA Works to further grow San Antonio’s workforce.”
