Heavy Lifters Up-Rated

BARAGA, MI Pettibone, the leading manufacturer of material handling equipment, has announced
the 1,000 pound capacity up-rating of its complete Telehandler line. The up-rating, verified by ANSI
B56.6 tilt table stability testing, gives Pettibone”an industry leader for more than 125 years”an
even stronger competitive position in the marketplace.
The original and new lifting capacities for these heavy lifters are:
*Traverse T1157 is currently in the prototype stage and will be available for second quarter of 2008.
When asked about the reasons behind the popular machines™ redesign and up-rating, company
Product Manager Dan Blondeau said, The idea for up-rating actually originated with our dealers
who wanted to know if we could make our machines even more competitive than they already
were. We we™re confident that with a few modest design changes the machines were capable of
more, so we made the changes, ran the tests, and proved it. We™ve built machines that have a
tested and verified additional 1,000 pounds capacity, he continued. That means our customers
get an even better, more capable and more versatile machine. That™s a win-win situation for
Pettibone representatives and the newly up-rated equipment, including the company™s
forthcoming Traverse T1157, will be present at the upcoming World of Concrete show in Las
