Grinder provides low-horsepower efficiency

DuraTech’s new 2009 tub grinder is designed for efficient, economical use on jobs that do not require high horsepower. The unit’s 275-horsepower John Deere engine connects to the heavy-duty mill through a self-adjusting clutch featuring pushbutton start and a built-in torque limiter and brake. A self-cleaning rotary screen keeps fresh air coming in and debris away from the engine and radiator. The tub width is 9 feet, 6 inches and the rotor measures 40 inches.
