Go to MIT–for free

|  February 12, 2009 |

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to study engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, you might be interested to know you can get the lectures, notes and reading lists for every course in every degree field they offer for free online. It’s called MIT Open Course Ware.

Granted it’s not the same as going to classes and interacting with professors and other students (and if you want to buy the books you’re on your own), but all in all it’s still pretty impressive. If you know any kids who are interested in engineering, let them know about it. You can bet your bottom dollar there are plenty of young people in China and India using this resource.
