General Equipment intros SP8/GH9HP surface planer

General Equipment SP8GH9HP surface planerGeneral Equipment Company has released a new surface planer. The SP8/GH9HP is powered by a 9-horsepower, four-stroke Honda GX270 gas engine.

The planer is built with a unified, welded steel plate frame, full-length hexagon driveshaft and extra capacity ball bearings. Cutting depth, adjusted using a screw-type, positive-locking selector, goes up to 5/8 inch. Cutting width is 8 inches and the machine cut as close as 3 1/4 inches to a wall.

The planer is designed for milling misaligned sidewalks and joints, removing thermo and cold plastic markings and prepping floors for new coating applications.
