GEAR: Mixing Mate paint mixing lid

|  November 30, 2012 |

The origin of the Mixing Mate appears to have been the result of setting out to cure every annoyance that comes with painting. First, this $15 mixer/lid snaps firmly to the top of a quart-sized paint can and produces a tight seal to prevent spilling. Storage problem solved. Next, it’s got a built-in spout that allows you to simply tip the can to pour as you would a syrup bottle at IHOP. No more prying off lids with screwdrivers. And third, it features an auger-style mixing paddle that sits in the can, properly mixing paint or stain in seconds with a few turns of the handle. Check it out here.
