“I almost hung up.” “This has to be a joke.” “CLICK.” These are just a few of the initial reactions we’ve received over the past six years when we called the winner of Equipment World’s Contractor’s Dream Package sweepstakes.
Fortunately, the first two people stayed on the phone long enough to realize that it really was true – they had won the most lucrative sweepstakes in our industry! I recently called our 2006 winner, Jeff Jay of G&G Construction in Enterprise, Mississippi, just to see how his business was doing since winning the prize. Jeff told me that his F550 serves as his primary service truck and hauling unit for most of his heavy equipment. He has also started a new concrete forming and foundation division of his company using some of the equipment he won. Needless to say, Jeff told me that the experience was “everything he dreamed of.”
