As models strutted down a runway during a fashion show in London earlier this week, a construction worker tumbled through the roof.

According to a report from Sky News, the worker is thought to have been working on a building adjacent to the venue where the fashion show was taking place. It’s unclear why, but the worker apparently walked across a corrugated glass panel in the roof. The panel gave way and the man fell through 30 feet to the ground below, hitting his head on a scaffolding pole on the way down.

Luckily the man survived the fall and is recovering. A London Ambulance spokesman said the worker, who is in his 30s, was taken to the Royal London Hospital where he was treated for a back injury.

To the surprise of those in the audience, the show continued after the incident. A spokesman for the show said the show went on because “as soon as we realized what had happened medical staff and production security were taking care of him.”
