Norton Shores, Michigan — With its oversized combustion chamber for more heat transfer surface area and increased efficiency, the HI 750 Series indirect fired heaters from Wacker Neuson Climate Technologies feature a robust heat exchanger to stand up to the rigors of the jobsite. All stainless steel construction ensures minimal oxidation and maximum service life of the heat exchanger. Its support structure dampens road-induced vibrations, while allowing the exchanger to expand freely up to 1/2-in (12.7-mm) in length due to temperature changes that occur during operation to increase reliability.
“The heat exchanger has been designed and built from the ground up to provide superior performance, serviceability and longevity,” says David Mencel, product manager for Wacker Neuson Climate Technologies. “The exchanger is the heart of the heater. It prevents mixing of the hot combustion gasses and the clean air entering the machine, allowing the HI 750 to deliver clean, dry air that removes combustion by-products and moisture from the workspace.”
A true construction-grade indirect fired heater, the Wacker Neuson HI 750 delivers 750,000 BTU hourly heat production and operates at 83% efficiency. With its 140˚ F (60˚ C) temperature rise, the HI 750 efficiently heats up to 1,009,000 ft3
(28,572 m3) spaces, while its adjustable air damper offers variable airflow from 4,000 to a best-in-class 6,450 CFM, when equipped with the optional three-outlet air-supply adapter.
The rental- and end-user-friendly HI 750 heaters come in both skid-mount and mobile models. Fitting through 36-in
(914.4 mm) door openings, the skid-mounted diesel HI 750 D and natural gas/propane HI 750 G models feature integrated forklift pockets and simple lift points for optimum mobility. The self-contained mobile HI 750GM comes complete with an enclosed 7 kW genset, a two-axle trailer mount with pintle hitch for quick transport and a large integrated fuel tank. A “plug-and-play” burner kit provides simple conversion between diesel fuel and natural gas/propane, optimizing on-site flexibility.
The efficient HI 750 Series heaters offer a number of time and money saving features for contractors. The versatile heater comes standard with two duct adaptors with three size options: 12-in (304.8 mm), 16-in (406.4 mm), or 20-in (508 mm). An optional third outlet may be added, giving contractors optimum flexibility for directing heat to where it’s required.
Featuring exclusive Recircul-Air design with two 20-in (508 mm) return air adapters, the CSA-certified HI 750 Series indirect fired heaters pressurize the structure with make-up air, while allowing adjustable recirculation of warm inside air for increased fuel savings. A four-position switch allows for three operating modes – ventilation, heat with no thermostat and heat with thermostat – to optimize heat production or fuel economy.
