Guangxi, PR China –  LiuGong Machinery Corp. will be showing their line of dozers at the INTERMAT Show in Paris this April. The three machines do much more than push dirt, sand and gravel. They push the limits – of power, performance and productivity.

LiuGong’s dozers bring a rich history of quality and dependability, as they are manufactured in the company’s newly acquired plant in Poland.  In January, LiuGong completed the acquisition of HSW (Huta Stalowa Wola) Dressta, a firm noted for bulldozer technology whose genetic makeup reaches back to International Harvester – one of the original developers of modern bulldozers. April marks the first time the dozer line will be presented as part of LiuGong.

The LiuGong Dressta bulldozer starts with powerful, reliable Cummins diesel engines.  The Cummins engines feature advanced electronic fuel injection systems that deliver higher torque and superior throttle response across the entire rpm range.  They pack the extra power today’s demanding construction and material handling customers require, while keeping fuel consumption and maintenance to a minimum. Plus, all three engines meet the strict EU Stage IIIA emissions requirements.

The advanced electro-hydraulic steering system features pre-set travel speed selection and automatic downshift – to help keep the operator focused on the work, not the shifting. LiuGong’s exclusive two-speed steering drive design provides capability of gradual turns with full power to both tracks for increased productivity and less slide across tough terrain.

A big part of productivity, of course, is the operator. And these dozers take operator performance and comfort to a new level.  When it comes to control, they’re a study in advanced ergonomics. Speed, direction and steering are all controlled smoothly and effortlessly with the left hand joystick.  Blade and ripper movement are controlled by the right-hand stick. The six-sided cab and sloped hood combine to give the operator a panoramic view of the worksite.

A single foot pedal actuates braking and park. An air-grid heater ensures dependable cold-weather starts. All three machines feature a sound-suppressed cabin with pressurized air-conditioning and heat and a fully adjustable, pivoting air-suspension seat.  AM/FM radio – with MP3/USB compatibility – is standard.

Service is never an after-thought with Dressta machines.  And with these machines, we thought of everything.  The exclusive single-rail modular powertrain provides ready access to the entire power train and all its components – engine, torque converter, transmission, steering drive and final drives. Because the system is modular, each part of the powertrain can be serviced separately, in the field – no need to bring the machine back to the workshop.  Routine maintenance is easier. And component replacement can be accomplished in the field, in just hours – even in those tough to access locations Dressta machines are famous for working in. Plus, all service ports and filters are easily accessible and sight gauges are intelligently placed for easy service checks. The variable speed, hydraulically driven cooling system makes for quiet, efficient, reliable cooling and extended service cycles. It’s all about keeping the machines on the job, working harder and longer with minimum maintenance costs and downtime.

The Model TD-14M comes with an operating weight of 15,550 kg with a blade capacity of 4.28 m3. The TD-20M has an operating weight of 23,650 kg and a blade capacity of 8.45 m3.  The TD-40E has an operating weight of 67,700 kg and a blade capacity of 39.8 m3.
