STATESVILLE, N.C. ” The WT-Series of walk-behind trowels are designed to make every project flatter and smoother. Each trowel is engineered for precision and speed to save time. The WT-Series models are built to work on a variety of applications, including driveways, floors, foundations, concrete patch repairs, sidewalks, walkways and slabs.
Doosan Infracore Portable Power offers nine trowel models from 24 inches to 48 inches in diameter. Each unit features four blades, with either standard blade adjustment or an optional accelerated pitch system. This option allows the operator to adjust the blade angle during operation smoothly and quickly. Both pitch options feature infinite blade adjustment positions to get the smoothest finish in all types of concrete, wet or set.
Adding to the dependability of the WT-Series, each unit is equipped with a reliable and powerful Honda engine, from a 4-horsepower engine on the WT24 to a 13-horsepower engine on the WT48DA. These engines run quieter, use straight gas and are more fuel-efficient than two-cycle engines. Each engine is solidly mounted to the trowel frame to prolong engine life.
One of the safety features of the WT-Series is a clutch designed to stop blade rotation independent of the engine to eliminate runaway trowels. Plus this feature allows the operator to get the engine up to desired RPM before engaging the blades. The trowels are also constructed with a vibration-isolated ring guard that provides extra machine stability and safety to the operator. Each trowel is constructed on a heavy-duty steel frame, to provide a solid platform and ensure smoother finishes.
The smallest of the line-up, the WT-24, features a rubber-edged rotating guide ring enabling the trowel to finish a floor close to walls without scuffing or gouging and makes hand finishing edges a thing of the past.
