Wacker Neuson Climate Technology’s E1100 hydronic surface heater offers a new genset, custom designed for unit operation in extreme cold temperatures. The on-board generator offers 3 kW net output, enabling contractors to use the E1100 off-grid. The heater’s diesel engine features an oversized Mecc-Alte generator head, which delivers easier motor starting, even in temperatures as low as -40° Fahrenheit (-40° Celsius). The new E1100 with genset features an advanced sound-attenuated design that significantly lowers operating levels. Its heavy gauge, powder coated sheet steel enclosure with removable cover delivers low, 80 dB(A) operation at 3.3 ft (1 m) and 60 dB(A) at a distance of 23 ft (7 m) . The heavy gauge enclosure also retains heat during extreme cold weather for consistent, reliable operation. This new hydronic heater model features an on-board Load Management System to prevent wet stacking. The 750 W load bank maintains a minimum of 25% load during low load operation.
