Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin – WACKER is adding two new single phase models to its electric submersible pump line that are designed to pump water to extremely low levels. The PSG2 500 and the PSR1 500 both feature a top discharge design for efficient motor cooling at continuous duty, low water level pumping.
The PSG2 500 Ground Pump can pump water down to a mere .2-inch. This new unit weighs only 23 pounds, has a maximum discharge head of 40-feet, a maximum flow rate of 62 gallons per minute and can handle solids up to ¼ inch. A miniature thermal motor protector guards against overheating and dry run conditions. This new ground pump is ideal for a variety of jobsite applications where very low pump down is needed but some solids are present.
The new PSR1 500 Residue pump draws water down as low as .04 inches. Ideal for flat concrete, like basements and factory floors, this 26-pound pump offers a maximum discharge head of 40 feet, a maximum flow rate of 45 gallons per minute with solids handling up to ¼ inch. Once primed, the PSR1 500 can be moved from location to location without losing its prime water thanks to a built in check valve system, allowing it to start pumping in less than ¼ inch of water. This pump is ideal in areas where a sump pump cannot be installed and water must be almost completely removed.
WACKER’s new submersible pumps provide a cost effective means to move water. They are powered by a 2/3 HP, single phase electric motor. The lightweight compact design offers a multi directional discharge coupling for vertical or horizontal hose run without kinking.
