Vermeer Corporation’s XTS1250 quad-track ,utility tractor is equipped with four independent steel tracks. This aggressive steel quad-track system offers plowing performance in muddy, loose or hard pan soil conditions. With relatively no breakover point, the steel quad-track system maximizes tractive effort and stability by maintaining constant four-point ground contact. Differential locks also allow the operator to provide full power to all four tracks. Other ground drive features, such as axle oscillation, front and rear and crab steering — are also functional with the steel quad-track system. The auto-center option reduces the time spent centering the rear tracks. With a push of a button, the auto-center steering option allows operators to self-center the rear track assemblies with ease, enhancing productivity and enabling the machine to work in confined spaces.
