The Cat 541 track feller buncher with full-tail swing has a 66,560-pound operating weight without the head. The three models in this 500 Series have purpose-built forestry cabs with heavy-duty guarding. The track machines have a rugged undercarriage for harvesting conditions, including wet bottomlands and steep rocky slopes. The machines are available with factory-installed felling heads, hot saws and intermittent or harvesting-linkage fronts. The 500 Series models contain a fuel/water separator, engine air intake heater and a dual-stage combination air cleaner with pre-cleaner.
