With a 99-gross-horsepower engine, the Cat TL642 telehandler has a 20,920-pound operating weight. The auxiliary hydraulic circuit that’s used for the attachments is equipped with cylinders or other hydraulic components. The machine has trunnion-mounted planetary, 55-degree steer axles. The service brakes are inboard wet-disc brakes on front and rear axles. The parking brakes have a spring-applied hydraulic release on the front axle. The boom comes up in 13 seconds and down in 10 seconds.
