The Thompson Slope Packer allows an excavator to be used to pack slopes on any grade and in any soil condition. The ridges in the drum indent soil similar to a dozer’s treads, controlling runoff and providing a bed for grass seed. The chains between the ridges remove buildup, allowing for use in wet soil. The Slope Packer is available in 4-, 6- and 8-foot widths. The machine has heavy-duty roller bearings, cleats and can be transported on the excavator.
