Gen Sets & Generators Shindaiwa Construction Products has announced the addition of a new DGK100D generator to their line of kWiet Power Ultra Quiet prime power mobile generators. According to Dave Dahlstrom, Shindaiwa™s Director of Marketing, This model is the first 80kW mobile generator to fit sideways on a highway legal trailer. This was accomplished by our engineers being challenged to limit the enclosure to 102 inches a truly amazing feat considering that competitive models in this size range are more than a foot longer. This model is also the fourth in their kWiet Power lineup that carries the Ultra Quiet label which indicates a sound level at or below 60 decibels. Dahlstrom adds that This is our second model to use an EPA tier III certified Isuzu diesel engine. Shindaiwa is the only mobile generator manufacturer to have a 100% Isuzu powered product line. kWiet Power generators and welders are sold through a network of 23 independent wholesale distributors in North America, the Caribbean and Latin America.
