In March of 2011, Gorman-Rupp introduced the new Prime Aire Plus “PAH” line of Vacuum Assisted Pumps. This is an expansion of the current Prime Aire pumps that are offered, with initial release to cover five hydraulic sizes (9-with impeller trims). Models feature sizes from 3” through 8” and are suitable for both clear liquids and liquids containing large solids. All PAH Series pumps are available coupled to the latest EPA Tier (IT4) compliant engines or premium efficiency (EISA) electric motors. Prime Aire Plus pumps employ the same venturi/compressor priming system as the Prime Aire line. The compressor is integral on the engine version and a shelf mount design on the electric units. Increased head, flow and enhanced maintenance features are additional benefits of the Prime Aire Plus pumps.
