The Peterbilt Model 386 represents a combination of the proven components and characteristics of the 389/388 conventional models with the aerodynamically friendly body of a 387.The 386 features a set-back front axle for better maneuverability. The Model 384 features a shorter BBC (bumper to back of cab) that is ideal for LTL, tanker, bulk and regional haul applications. It is also available with smaller-block engines for further fuel and weight-saving advantages.
