McNeilus Revolution Composite Mixer Drum
December 3, 2008

McNeilus Companies has made several performance enhancements to its Revolution composite mixer drum, improving the way ready-mix producers work. Areas of improvement include the interior surface of the drum, new water channels and a tougher exterior surface. These changes all increase productivity and drum longevity. Some of the performance enhancements added to the Revolution drum include: More durable interior wear surfaces of the drum: McNeilus improved the interior surfaces of the drum to better protect against concrete buildup. The new interior provides superior wear resistance, extending the life of the fins and interior surface. Refined interior surface prevents concrete buildup: Surface imperfections that promote concrete build-up have been removed from the interior of the drum. The smoother interior provides for better flow of concrete and prevents build-up. This ultimately means a more productive drum.
