JCB is strengthening its range of JS tracked excavators with the addition of three heavyweight machines — the 63,945-pound JS290, the 79,380-pound JS360, and the JS520, which tips the scales at 114,660 pounds. The JS290 will bridge the gap between the JS260 and JS330 in the existing line up, with the JS360 completing the range between the JS330 and the JS460. The JS290 will compete in the growing 62,000-73,000 pound sector of the market. The machine features all the hallmarks of JCB’s JS Auto range.The machines offer best performance, operator environment and serviceability. Powered by Isuzu six-cylinder Tier III-compliant engines the new excavators combine high productivity with impressive lift capacity and drawbar pull. Comfortable and economical to run, the JS290 is for excavator operators looking for a machine in the 62,000 pound class.
