Caterpillar’s heavy-duty buckets for compact excavators are designed for abrasive applications such as mixed dirt, clay and rock. It handles utility trenching, digging footings, backfilling and general excavating in construction, landscaping and utility applications. The buckets have a formed-back wrapper design and tapered bucket sidewalls. The 12-inch HD bucket has a 1.5-cubic foot struck capacity an a 1.7-cubic foot heaped capacity.
