The Cat 564 forwarder’s components include heavy-duty axles, four-speed electronic shift, wet-disc axle and a torque-converter, power-shift transmission. With a 174-horsepower engine, the machine has a 30,000-pound load capacity. The operator station features 1/2-inch scratch-resistant, tinted, polycarbonate windows, and the side windows double as an escape route. The structure has a full, 40-degree articulation with frame lock and adjustable log bunks with floating cam stakes. The loader has 250 degrees of rotation, a full-load high-reach boom and wrapped hoses.
