Ditch Witch FX60 Vacuum Excavator
March 31, 2008

The Ditch Witch FX60 vacuum excavator, a higher-horsepower version of the company’s FX30, is designed for an extensive range of cleanup and soft excavation applications for many different industries, including drilling, utility, landscaping, construction, water and sewer, railroad, telecommunications, disaster recovery, and plumbing. The features and capabilities of the FX60 reflect a growing trend of vacuum excavation systems being used to perform more excavation tasks than cleanup. The earlier, gas-powered systems were primarily used to clean out trenches and remove debris from construction sites. The new breed of diesel-powered vacuum excavators, exemplified by the FX60, is increasingly called upon to excavate in congested areas, expose and locate lines, clean utility boxes, perform a variety of street repairs, and dozens of other above ground tasks.
