Komatsu America Corp.’s D155AX-6 dozer was developed primarily for both ripping and dozing operations. The new machine combines the revolutionary SIGMADOZER blade with a new highly efficient automatic transmission to achieve exceptional productivity and fuel economy. Komatsu’s new crawler dozer has an operating weight of 87,100 pounds and features a powerful, clean SAA6D140E-5 turbocharged, after-cooled diesel engine which provides a maximum net output of 354 HP, 264 kW (with hydraulic fan maximum speed: 320 HP, 239 kW). The engine meets both EPA Tier 3 and EU stage 3A emission regulations. The dozer is equipped with the latest Komtrax technology which sends machine operating information to a secure website utilizing wireless technology. Hour meter, location, cautions and maintenance alerts to name a few of its features are relayed to the web application for analysis.
