For deconstructing building and structures, the Cat 330D UHD hydraulic excavator has a 6,614-pound maximum tool weight over the front. They hydraulic lines are fitted with either quick disonnects or face-to-face ball valves, and the retrofit booms can be installed either in bent or in straight position. The demolition sticks have hardened bores at all connections (connections with boom and tool linkage). The excavators were designed following a 1:2 rule (2 meters of vertical height for 1 meter of horizontal reach).
