August 1, 2008 The new Hilti WSR 36-A is the cordless reciprocating saw that professionals can depend on for cutting through the same tough applications that are typically performed with a corded saw, without the hassle or set up time of cords or generators. With the 36 V 3.3 Ah CPC Li-Ion battery the WSR 36-A is the highest capacity cordless reciprocating saw on the market. And, because it™s compatible with all Hilti 36 V CPC Li-Ion batteries it™s easy to standardize on one battery for multiple Hilti cordless tools.

The WSR 36-A is perfect for cutting pipe, strut, threaded rod, steel studs and other miscellaneous steel. It can also be used for cutting wood with nails, wood beams, treated lumber, plywood, wood composites as well as plastics.

Hilti Active Vibration Reduction (AVR) is an integrated feature of this new tool. This built-in technology reduces vibration by up to two thirds, thus improving working comfort even over long periods of use.

And, thanks to the ergonomically designed operating controls and comfortable handling, it is ideal for maintaining control when cutting overhead and in difficult to reach areas.
