The Case 1221E wheel loader features an electronically controlled Tier 3-certified engine that provides ample power to move more material per hour, a spacious cab that offers greater operator comfort and visibility, and easy maintenance for more productive hours on the job. Ideally suited for sand and gravel, stone and aggregates, roads and bridges and site preparation applications, the Case 1221E wheel loader has an operating weight of 30 metric tons (65,600 pounds) and a standard payload capacity of 7.6 cubic yards (5.7 m3). The Case 1221E wheel loader is powered by a fully electronic, six-cylinder Tier III-certified Cummins engine that boasts 320 net horsepower (239 kW) at maximum performance. The large, isolation-mounted cab on the 1221E is among the quietest in the industry, with an operator sound level of 72 dBa. Maximum operator adjustments increase operator comfort, productivity and visibility.
