In 2007, ASV introduced the Scout SC-50 rubber-tracked utility vehicle, which uses integrated components from their Posi-Track machines. This machine is efficient for construction crews, survey crews, utility companies, pipeline workers and cable crews. The combination of suspension, all-rubber track, 10 rubber wheels that disperse weight across a 15-inch wide track and a sprocket with roller system provide a smooth ride. With a 5,000-pound towing capacity, the Scout has a high-traction powertrain for transport over slippery conditions such as mud or snow. It has a 11.5 mph travel speed, 30-gallon fuel capacity and low ground pressure.
