Doosan Portable Power G240 first Tier 4 Final generator [1]Doosan Portable Power (DPP) announced the G240WCU today, the company’s first Tier 4 Final generator.

The G240 is powered by a 282-horsepower Cummins QSB7-G6 engine. The G240 meets Tier 4 Final requirements through the use of diesel oxidization catalyst (DOC) and selective catalytic reduction technologies, DPP says.

The generator’s uel tank capacity is 368 gallons for 26 hours worth of runtime at 100 percent load. DPP says the G240 boasts a 5-percent increase in runtime over its Tier 4 interim generators.

The G240 features a reconfigured control panel with DPP’s new DynaGen TG-410 rugged digital controller. The generator features onboard engine diagnostics and simple engine emission controls as well as telematics.

As with Doosan’s other mobile generators, the G240 features a dual-enclosure design that separates the powertrain and cooling system. The G240 features a three-position voltage configuration with the option of adding 600 volts through Doosan’s Quad Voltage feature.

DPP recommends 500-hour service intervals on the generator. The battery, fuel, air filters, oil fill and fuel fill are all conveniently and safely located curbside.
