It’s not very often we realize just how far-reaching the Internet is.

Matthew Noszka certainly wasn’t thinking about it when he posted a picture of himself to his Instagram taken while working on building a deck. But thanks to that picture, he’s now a highly-sought-after fashion model.

According to ABC News, Noszka, 22, posted the picture to the right about six months ago while working one of several jobs as a construction worker with his father.

At the time, he was also attending and playing basketball at Point Park University in Pittsburgh.

“I was basically working odd jobs,” Noszka told ABC. “And then when basketball season came around I kind of focused my time and effort into that.”

Soon after, Luke Simone with Wilhelmina, the prominent fashion agency, saw the photo, immediately tracked Noszka down and signed him to a contract. Now, Noszka is modeling for fashion houses such as Astrid and Anderson, Tom Ford and Moncler, ABC reports.

So if you’ve got any particularly flattering photos of yourself on the jobsite (maybe you “lift a lot,” like Noszka was at the time) go ahead and post ’em. Who knows? It might lead to a whole new career.
