Diesel fuel prices rise $0.031 per gallon in U.S.

On-highway diesel fuel prices rose $0.031 per gallon in the U.S. in the week ending January 27, according to our sister site, Aggregates Manager.

The rising costs follow two consecutive week of falling diesel prices.

This week, diesel prices also rose in all regions of the U.S.

The greatest increase this week occurred in the Central Atlantic region, which experienced an $0.084-per-gallon rise from last week’s prices and a $0.038-per-gallon year-over-year increase.

Overall, national prices rose $0.031 per gallon this week to $3.904, and they are $0.023 per gallon lower than a year ago.
